Running Costs
There are a number of off-peak electricity tariffs available which provide a lower cost for electricity used specifically for heating and hot water. The two most common tariffs are Economy 7 and Economy 10.
Economy 7

Economy 7 is an electricity tariff with different pricing structures according to the time of day. The energy you use during the night costs less, per unit, than energy used during the day with Economy 7.
Obviously with Economy 7 you'll use more energy during the night than the day, so you will save money. Hhowever, you need to be using roughly 20% of your energy consumption at night to be making a saving. Aand when they say night, they really mean night - the cheaper tariff usually starts around 1am and finishes around 8am (this can vary by supplier and region).
Another important factor to take into consideration with Economy 7 is that is that, although you can heat your water and storage heater continually throughout the night, this may be insufficient to last you through the day. The morning is generally nice and warm, with enough hot water for a bath or shower, but as you reach the evening your house will probably start growing colder.
Economy 10*
One meter installed in each property
Economy 10 Tariffs (sometimes referred to as "warmwise") consist of 10 hours off off-peak electricity, which suppliers charge at a discounted rate. Like Economy 7, this tariff best suits households with storage heaters. Iif you are on Economy 7 and you are running out of hot water or if your storage heaters are cooling off by the evening then Economy 10 could be a good tariff for you.
To be on an Economy 10 tariff you must have an Economy 10 meter. These differ from standard meters as they have additional capability, which enables them to measure the consumption of electricity between the set Economy 10 hours specified by the supplier.
Almost any home can have an Economy 10 meter fitted if desired. Be aware that there may be a charge for installing the meter. To enquire about this please contact your local electricity distribution company.
The structure of the 10 off peak hours is as follows;
* 3 hours in the afternoon
* 2 hours in the evening
* 5 hours over night

The Rrange Senator does not require a flue or a fuel supply tank. I'ts quiet operation makes Range the ideal choice for conservatories, loft and home extensions and is widely specified in apartments and all-electric building projects. Iin larger applications, the Range Senator can be daisy chained (see diagram below) to provide a greater output capable of satisfying a much greater demand. Whether supplying conventional radiators or under floor heating, there is a Senator that fits the bill.

The Range Senator electric flow boiler comprehensive warranty covers defects originating from faulty workmanship and materials used in manufacture of the unit for a period of 5 years. The warranty covers the replacement of any faulty parts and our labour costs to replace them.
*The unit is designed to operate the majority of wet central heating systems in domestic, commercial, industrial and public buildings. It must not be used in an environment that is classified as hazardous and could therefore cause a fire or explosion, or where there is a danger of ignition by a flame path. Warranty condition apply.
