Pellet Plus
The SolarFocus pellet plus was specifically designed for highest possible combustion efficiency of wood pellet. The revolutionary downburn technology achieves an excellent burn off pellets therefore achieving efficiency levels of 97.5% partial load. The pellet plus combines energy from the sun and pellet firing in the one energy centre. With this unique design the burner no longer has to compensate for missing temperature differences hence 100% of the sun's energy is utilised.
Pellet Top
The Pellet Top is a Biomass boiler with a performance and combustion regulation system. It has a compact steel construction with a heat resistant firing chamber. It burns in a downward direction (downburn technology). Performance regulation using induced draft fans and lambda sensor to control combustion and secondary air motor flap. With an automatic heat exchanger cleaning device with large ash compartment. Automatic ignition using energy efficient glow pencil.
Therminator II
Therminator II ranges from 22kw to 60kw models. Therminator II is one of SolarFocus finest products. This combination of wood log and wood pellet burner is the ultimate in wood burning technology and has an efficiency rating of 93.1%.
It has a built in eco managed system, lambda sensor, bi-metal pre heating valve and automatic ignition of both pellets and logs.
Outstanding Technological Advantages
Lambda sensor:
This technological advance was continuously expanded as the first use of the lambda sensor in boiler construction. The best combustion values and especially a long service life of the lambda sensor have only been achieved by positioning the sensor in the combustion chamber.
Downburn technology:
A perfect combustion is achieved through downburn technology.
The combustion chamber is free of moving parts.
Induced draft fan:
The combustion air needed in the various areas is sucked in by the speed controlled induced draft fan. It is controlled by a microprocessor which is built into the control system and governed by values obtained by the lambda sensor.
Hopper grate:
This patented, funnel-shaped chrome-plated steel grate provides the greatest heat volume at the smallest surface further optimising efficiencies.
Carbonisation gas extraction:
The carbonisation gas extraction system guarantees that when you open the loading doors, no smoke emerges, even while the system is heating. The extractor fan extracts the carbonisation gas directly to the flue.
Heater exchanger cleaning:
Endless screws that operate following the "meat grinder principle", clean the walls of the heat exchangers at set intervals. The blades are closely tangential to the heat exchanger and carry off any deposits to the ash chamber.
Automatic ignition (optional):
The boiler can be automatically ignited by a hot air fan at predetermined time intervals.
